There are only a few requests for help from Russian citizens in Britain so far. The information about the appeals was disclosed by the Russian Ambassador in London Andrey Kelin on the air of the YouTube channel "Solovyov LIVE".
"You know, to be honest, there are few such requests. I can't say that they have a mass character. There are literally only a few of them. We answer all this, without a doubt, we help in whatever way we can. But the situation has not yet gone too far for it to be massive, catastrophic," the Russian ambassador said.
Earlier in March, Kelin said that the rupture of diplomatic relations between Moscow and London is possible if the UK closes the Russian embassy.
On March 2, the authorities of the United Kingdom gave themselves the authority to detain Russian naval vessels. So, now all ships owned or operated by someone connected with Russia will be banned in British ports after the introduction of a new package of sanctions against Moscow.
