On June 24, the head of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control, Andrea Ammon, predicted the rapid spread of the Indian strain of coronavirus to all European countries. The doctor noted that by August 2021, 90 percent of cases of COVID-19 in the European territory will fall on the "delta" variant of the virus.
