The number of victims of the mysterious disease, dubbed "Havana syndrome", among US diplomats, military personnel and intelligence officers working abroad was significantly higher than previously thought. This is reported by The New York Times.

"At the moment, we do not have clear information about the cause of these incidents and it would be premature and irresponsible to speculate," the newspaper quotes Amanda Shosh, a representative of the National Intelligence Service.
