The State Duma will work out the issue of creating a parliamentary commission to investigate the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine. This was stated by the speaker of the Chamber Vyacheslav Volodin in Telegram.
According to him, representatives of the State Department want to hide from the public the facts about biological laboratories in Ukraine so that no one knows what they were doing there. The parliamentarian clarified that the deputy chairman of the State Duma Irina Yarova will be instructed on March 10 to work out the issue of creating such a commission.
The State Duma Council supported this initiative, Volodin summed up.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the presence of US biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine and their activities will be of interest to the whole world. Currently, Russian specialists are working with them, the results of their activities will be made public in a timely manner, the Kremlin representative added.
US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland confirmed that there are biological research facilities in Ukraine, and the US is working to prevent them from coming under the control of the forces. She made such a statement when answering the question whether there are chemical weapons on the territory of Ukraine.
