Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke about the main outcome of the G20 summit held in Rome, Italy. His words are quoted by TASS.
"The main conclusion that can be drawn from the work of this summit — not only the leaders, but also the experts who agreed on a detailed multi—page declaration — is that attempts to promote unilateral approaches turned out to be unclaimed," Lavrov said.
According to him, most of the participants spoke in favor of finding compromise solutions on many issues on the international agenda, including the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, countering climate change and energy security.
The G20 summit is being held in Rome on October 30-31. On October 31, the COP 26 International Climate Conference begins in Glasgow, UK. It will last until November 12.
