The first footage from the scene of the attack of a man on a train in Tokyo, Japan, has appeared. The video, which was published by the Telegram channel Baza, caught passengers who are fleeing and leaving the car through the windows.

The footage shows dozens of passengers running in panic from one car to another, pushing each other apart. Some people can barely stand on their feet, while others lose things on the way, and women's screams are also heard. Smoke billows from the next car, after which a loud bang is heard, the flame flares up more.

Meanwhile, the train arrives at the station and stops, and people manage to get into the next car, where passengers get out through the windows.

According to Reuters, the man who is suspected of the attack is about 20 years old. It is also reported that one of the victims is in critical condition. Six ambulances were called to the scene.

Earlier it was reported that in Tokyo, an unknown man attacked train passengers, spilled a flammable liquid and set it on fire. It happened on one of the lines of the Keio railway company going to the world's busiest Shinjuku station. As a result, at least 15 people were injured. At the moment, the attacker is detained, he did not resist the police. The reasons for the attack are being investigated.
