The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg has arrested political scientist Valery Solovy for 10 days for a rally in the center of St. Petersburg on December 5, OVD Info reports, citing lawyer Alexei Dobrynin.
The court found Nightingale guilty under the article on organizing an uncoordinated action. The court refused to hear three witnesses from the defense. According to the protocol on administrative violation, Nightingale organized and held a public event without giving notice. It could lead to a violation of the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as violation of law and order, including the operation of a metro station.
